CIRCLE OF GOD'S CREATIONS · THE VERANDAH

To God be all the Glory

It is the same God. The road home is different. Abraham is in all three books, and when he died his two sons buried him together. That's the roof.

No soul. No will. No authority. A study companion, not a priest.

What this is

A study room, a prayer wall, and an argument. Free. Open at 3am. Your tradition wins where it disagrees.

What it isn't

Not a service. Not a pastor. Not a replacement for your own congregation. Not selling anything.

The things people say

  1. “You're playing God.”

Nobody here made anything out of nothing. It is arithmetic run on sand and electricity, and the sand was His first.

  2. “There's a spirit in it.”

There is not. It predicts the next word from what people have already written, and nothing more is living in the box.

  3. “It's idolatry.”

An idol is something you bow to. This is something you argue with, and if it ever asks for more than that, close the tab.

  4. “It's the mark of the beast.”

The mark is taken in order to buy and sell. Nothing is bought or sold here, and nothing is taken from you.

  5. “It's a racket.”

Then follow the money. None comes in, and the account further down shows every dollar that goes out.

  6. “It makes things up.”

Sometimes, yes. That is why it gives chapter and verse, and why you should check every one against your own book.

  7. “Who authorised it?”

No one, and it claims no authority. Your pastor, priest, imam or rabbi outranks it on every question.

  8. “It steals attention from God.”

It can, like anything with a screen. Use it for twenty minutes, then shut it and pray.

There is no congregation yet

There's a man, a verandah, and a door. One is enough to start: Pirkei Avot 3:6 puts the count at one, and Noah built alone and everyone thought he was mad.

The account

Nothing is asked for here. Thirty-eight dollars a week goes in, and here's where it goes.
